Racing 3/09

Maybe not wise to be posting something on a very average Sunday but just one of these winners would result in a good profit. No Blackbookers today but I think 6/12 did actually win which was a 100% profit similar to last Saturday.

Mudgee R6 ANNANDALE LASS is probably worth another chance here with the apprentice claim down to 51kg. She ran okay at Murwillumbah last start in a race that had a lot of speed in it. There should be a fair bit less in this race and she meets the likes of Dreadlock and Super Chase better off at the weights for beating both the last time they met. The former is $4.50 and she is $13?? A Magic Zariz and Kanguru probably look the ones to beat. Kanguru meets AMZ 3kg better for beating it home 3 starts back but the latter is probably a better horse at 1400m.

R7 Probably a bit speculative but PRETTYLITTLEFELLOW has Bar Plates coming off today and they have been on since February. There has been some improvement in form recently so perhaps it’s hoof problems have been overcome. There is an odds on favourite here first up so a place might be the best we can hope for, but at better than $20 each way it’s worth a small bet.

Moree (Cup) R8 TRACK FLASH is another at big odds who looks okay at the weights here with a Tongue Tie going back on. He has a 50% strike rate at the track (3/6) and the price of $21 seems overs given Real Blonde is $12. He should have the measure of that horse at the weights. RENA’ S LAD comes off a similar formline and handy to note he has drawn poorly at his last three starts (much better today), and has been carrying high weights. The third to Avroson and Present Sense with the same weight 3 starts back is good enough for this, Not much between he and TF on their last meeting RL meets TF 1kg better for a O.6L defeat.

Kalgoorlie R6 BOLLYWOOD BLITZ appeals here from a good draw. He has a very consistent record, love this track and has the class to win given he has won 3 Metro races. A few of these might be looking to the Kalgoorlie Cup at the longer distance coming up but he seems to be the right horse for today’s distance. He also drops in weight a lot off his recent wins here. $6.50 seems overs to me. If there is a weighted horse in the race it is Wayside, but he has to overcome a wide barrier and is yet to even race here. Ripper Rio 2/2 at the distance and coming back in distance back to a dry track, and from a good barrier looks another at decent value. First time here though so have to go with BB to win with everything looking in his favour.
